L’écriture du « Mineur » dans Archéologie du Chaos [amoureux] de Mustapha Benfodil

Abstract

Abstract : Archéologie du chaos [amoureux] by Mustapha Benfodil is one among the Algerian novels written in French and that is involved in the debate over what is called “minor literature”. Being considered as belonging to postmodern thought, and more precisely “pop literature”, the author provides a complex reflection on both form and content related to questionings particular to the problematic of the minor. These reflections concern notably the distinction between major and minor art, which is put into question, as well as the treatment of the Palestinian question that is a marginal subject in the Algerian novel, though getting all its importance in Belfodil’s novel. Résumé : Archéologie du chaos [amoureux] de Mustapha Benfodil est l’un des romans algériens de langue française qui s’implique le plus dans le débat autour de la « littérature mineure ». S’inscrivant dans le cadre de la pensée postmoderne, plus précisément de la « Pop’littérature », l’auteur développe une réflexion complexe aussi bien au niveau de la forme que du fond sur un ensemble de questionnements propres à la problématique du mineur. Ces réflexions concernent notamment la distinction entre l’art majeur et mineur, laquelle est remise en cause, ainsi que le traitement de la question palestinienne, sujet marginal dans le roman algérien, mais qui acquiert toute son importance dans le roman de Mustapha Benfodil.
