La relation père/fils dans L’effacement de Samir Toumi : une relation aliénante

Abstract

Abstract : The erasure of Samir Toumi, invests a new mechanism of treatment of the national hero. It makes the hero not a model to be followed, but rather a model to be feared and respected. The narrator finds himself forced to sacrifice his desires, his freedom and even his existence. This reading has allowed us to identify in this article the strategies by which the heroic and sacred figure of the father is metamorphosed into an alienating figure for the narrator.

Résumé : L’effacement de Samir Toumi, investit un nouveau mécanisme de traitement du héros national. Il fait du héros non pas un modèle à suivre, mais un modèle qui est plutôt à craindre et à respecter. Le narrateur-personnage se retrouve contraint à sacrifier ses désirs, sa liberté et même son existence. Cette lecture nous a permis de dégager dans le présent article, les stratégies par lesquelles la figure héroïsée et sacralisée du père, se métamorphose en une figure aliénante pour le personnage- narrateur.
