Pour une problématisation des « écritures bilingues » dans la littérature francophone algérienne

Abstract

Abstract : The present contribution concerns the problem of Ŗthe bilingual writingŗ (Lagarde, on 2001; on 2004), situated in the crossing of the sociolinguistics and the literature, in the literary works of three French-speaking Algerian writers: Mammeri, Dib, Djebar. It is a question of showing that the text in French is Ŗworkedŗ by statements of the language of the origins (Arabic and/or Berber), according to a number of modalities of integration (xenisms, loans and traces) receiving these stakes in writing: - during colonial period, register at the heart of the texte Ŗa speech of insideŗ and speak so to say the world of the colonized; - during postcolonial period, to show the pluriculturality of the Algerian society denied by the Governing power.

Résumé : La présente contribution porte sur la problématique de « l'écriture bilingue », située au croisement de la sociolinguistique et de la littérature, dans les œuvres littéraires de trois écrivains algériens francophones : Mammeri, Dib, Djebar. Il s'agit de montrer que le texte en français est « travaillé » par des énoncés de la langue des origines (arabe et/ou berbère), selon un certain nombre de modalités d'intégration (xénismes, emprunts et calques) recélant les enjeux d'écriture suivants : durant la période coloniale, inscrire au cœur du texte « un discours du dedans » et prendre ainsi la parole pour dire le monde du colonisé ; durant la période postcoloniale, montrer la pluriculturalité de la société algérienne déniée par le pouvoir en place.
