Abstract

Abstract : In literary history, law and the family of jurists have always occupied an important place. For example, Frantz Kafka was a doctor of law and law constituted and constitutes the framework of the human comedy of Honoré de Balzac (Journès 1982). Of course, Algerian literature is not and could not be outdone.Malek Haddad (student at the law school of Aix-en- Provence), Kateb Yacine (grandson and son of jurists),Mostepha Lacheraf(accomplished jurist before being recognized as an historian and writer) are a few examples that perfectly illustrate this assertion. In this line, the eminent university Jurist Noureddine Saadi, deceased on December 14th 2017, has enriched the Algerian literature of French expression with several novels and short stories. The first of his fictions entitled DIEU-LE-FIT is one of his major works which takes the pretext of political fact that accured in the 1980 in Algeria (in this case the decision to eradicate all the slums and brutally return their occupants to their douars of origin) to tell in form of fable, the story of a people in search of their identities and their origins at the moment when the great movement towards modernity is taking place. Résumé : Dans l’histoire littéraire, le droit et la famille des juristes ont de tous temps occupé une place importante. A titre d’exemples, Frantz Kafka était docteur en droit et le droit a constitué et constitue la charpente de la Comédie Humaine d’Honoré de Balzac (Journès 1982). Bien évidemment la littérature algérienne n’est et ne pourrait être en reste. Malek Haddad (étudiant à la faculté de droit d’Aixen- Provence), Kateb Yacine (petit fils et fils de juristes), Mostepha Lacheraf (juriste accompli avant d’être reconnu comme historien et écrivain) sont quelques exemples qui illustrent parfaitement cette assertion. Dans cette lignée, l’éminent juriste universitaire Noureddine Saadi, disparu le 14 décembre 2017,a enrichi la littérature algérienne d’expression française de plusieurs romans et nouvelles. La première de ses fictions intitulée Dieu-le-fit estune de ses oeuvres majeures qui prend prétexte d’un fait politique survenu dans les années 1980 en Algérie (en l’occurrence la décision d’éradiquer tous les bidonvilles et de renvoyer brutalement leurs occupants vers leurs douars d’origine) pour conter sous forme d’une fable l’histoire d’un peuple à la recherche de ses identités et de ses origines au moment où se déroule le grand mouvement vers la modernité.
