Abstract
This study examines the future of education in the context of the contemporary scientific revolution, particularly the challenges posed by artificial intelligence and genetic engineering. It argues that these developments raise profound questions about human identity, meaning, and responsibility, while exposing the limitations of contemporary Arab educational thought.
Using an analytical-synthetic approach, the study critically analyzes the educational visions of Malek Bennabi, Majed Irsan Al-Kilani, and Taha Abderrahmane, and explores the ontological, epistemological, and axiological implications of scientific and technological change.
The study proposes a future-oriented educational framework called the Philosophy of Ethical Agency, which seeks to reconcile scientific progress with ethical values. It advocates the formation of an ethically responsible human being characterized by moral integrity, active social engagement, and a holistic understanding of human nature. The study concludes that future education should aim not only at developing technical competence but also at cultivating wisdom, responsibility, and the capacity to face future challenges.
