Les emprunts à diverses sphères culturelles dans Le livre du sang de A Khatibi ou comment vivre une identité problématique

Abstract

Abstract : Le Livre du Sang is of a rather difficult access for which is not initiated with the reading of the modern texts. In fact, the writing of Khatibi borrows, by mixing with it the kinds, its processes at the same time in the Occident, (more precisely with the French literature), and in the arabo-Islamic and Maghrebian world.The plural cultural references (myth of theAndrogyne, mysticism Sufi), go, in a particular treatment of the writing, to be used as matrix with the production of a problematic Maghrebian identity. This article “revisits” thework of Khatibi. Through the thematic study, more precisely mythocritic, of some examples of loans to the two cultural spheres, we will try to explain how Khatibi, while plunging us in an environment quasi-mystic, convenes images of universal symbolism to transcend in a poetic and harmonious way the identity problem, in other words how this author militates so that Maghrebian, shared it between the East andthe Occident, lives his multiple identity (it is still a current problem!), not like a tearing but like awealth, a completeness.

Résumé : Le Livre du Sang est d’un abord plutôt difficile pour qui n’est pas initié à la lecture des textes modernes. En fait, l’écriture de Khatibi emprunte, en y mélangeant les genres, ses procédés, à la fois à l’Occident, (plus précisément à la littérature française), et au monde arabo-islamique et maghrébin. Les références culturelles plurielles (mythe de l'Androgyne, mysticisme soufi), vont, dans un traitement particulier de l'écriture, servir de matrice à la mise en scène d’une identité maghrébine problématique. Cet article « revisite » l’oeuvre de Khatibi. À travers l’étude thématique, plus précisément intersémiotique, de quelques exemples d’emprunts aux deux sphères culturelles, nous tenterons d’expliquer comment Khatibi, en nous plongeant dans une ambiance quasi-mystique, convoque des images du symbolisme universel pour transcender de manière poétique et harmonieuse le problème identitaire. Autrement dit, nous essayerons de montrer comment cet auteur milite pour que le maghrébin, partagé entre l’Orient et l’Occident, vive son identité multiple (c’est encore un problème d’actualité !), non comme un déchirement mais comme une richesse, une complétude.
