Abstract

This paper seeks to foster critical reflection on the development of writing competencies among Algerian journalists working in the French-language press. It further aims to examine the fundamental principles of journalism through the lens of professional didactics, an approach that focuses on the analysis of professional practices in real work contexts. In addition, this study explores the various factors that contribute to the development of professional competencies among Algerian journalists in the Francophone press. Particular attention is given to the context of journalism training in Algeria, where a noticeable gap persists between practical experience and methodological instruction.
