Abstract
This research presents a descriptive and analytical study of applying the textual approach in Algerian middle schools, emphasizing the text as an integrated unit for developing reading, writing, analysis, and communication skills. Through a field study with teachers, the research identifies both the potential and the deficiencies in implementing the approach, concluding that its effectiveness depends on proper conceptual understanding and procedural application to achieve the desired learning outcomes in Arabic language education.
