Abstract

This research presents a detailed examination of the reality of sustainable rural tourism in the province of Blida, along with its planned and anticipated prospects. This study aims to critically analyze sustainable rural tourism in Blida as a case study by evaluating the current tourism situation via SWOT analysis and reviewing the tourism outlook for the province up to 2030. The analysis identifies the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats characterizing rural tourism in the study area. The findings indicate that rural tourism in Blida has a promising future, driven by increasing interest among tourists in this alternative, comfortable, and family-friendly form of tourism. This trend supports the principle of "win–win" tourism and contributes to the broader aspiration of achieving sustainable rural development.
