The Foundational Statements Of Extremism In Contemporary Arab-Islamic Thought from The Perspective of Muhammad Emara

Abstract

This research paper aims, first, to highlight the basic propositions on which historians of extremism in Arab and Islamic thought have based their arguments, which can be summarized in three propositions: the first is the proposition of sovereignty, the second is the proposition of ignorance, and the third is the proposition of atonement, with reference to the interconnection between the second and third propositions. Secondly, it aims to reveal the appropriate scientific approach to countering these extremists from the perspective of the thinker Muhammad Amara. This is done by attempting to answer the following questions: What are the tenets of extremism in modern and contemporary Arab thought? What is the most appropriate scientific approach to countering extremists from Muhammad Amara's perspective.
