Abstract
This study falls within the field of Arabic language education
within the framework of the reforms that the Algerian educational
system has known in recent years, by adopting modern
pedagogical methods in building educational curricula and
designing school books. Where the topic of the research was:
Investing the linguistics of the text in teaching the Arabic language
in the light of the competency approach - the Arabic language book
for the fourth year of intermediate education, a descriptive and
analytical study – where the researcher tried to show the extent to
which the textual approach is related to the linguistic approach’s
pedagogy and the manifestations of the linguistic competencies in
the book. For the fourth year of intermediate education, to
determine the extent of the application of these methods adopted in
the field, and to monitor the difficulties encountered in their
application, in order to try to address them in the future.
